Top 5 Fitness and Weight Loss Apps on Android in Finland Q2 2023

During the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 fitness and weight loss programs on the Android platform in Finland demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Sports Tracker Running Cycling from Suunto saw its weekly revenue peaking at around $2.7K at the end of March and then experiencing a general decline, settling at approximately $1.5K by the end of June. Weekly downloads started at 1.1K and gradually decreased to around 644 by late June. Active users also saw a decline from 10.3K to about 8.6K over the quarter.

Polar Flow by Polar Electro did not generate any revenue during this period. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 1.05K in early May and dropping to around 912 by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 38.1K and ending the quarter at approximately 39.5K.

Pedometer - Step Counter App from ITO Technologies also reported no revenue. Weekly downloads varied but showed a peak of 1.05K in early June, ending the quarter at around 739. The app maintained a consistent number of active users, starting at 15.4K and ending at 14.5K.

Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group generated modest revenue, peaking at $30 in late May. Weekly downloads started at 1.05K and decreased to approximately 534 by the end of June. Active users remained fairly stable, fluctuating around the 20K mark throughout the quarter.

Garmin Connect™ from Garmin did not generate any revenue either. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline, starting at 880 and ending at 910. Active users remained consistently high, starting at 57.5K and peaking at around 62K by the end of May.
